The Traverse Grid Fleece is a breathable midlayer for steep approaches, exposed traverses, and days when output and weather change quickly. Its open-grid interior moves heat and moisture away from the body, while a smooth outer face layers cleanly beneath a shell. A close, mobile cut keeps the fleece useful under a pack without restricting reach. The full-length front zip provides fast ventilation, and low-profile pockets remain accessible above a hip belt. Reinforced high-wear zones add durability without turning the layer into a bulky jacket. Wear it over a base layer in cool, dry conditions or between a base layer and shell when wind and precipitation arrive. It is designed to stay comfortable through repeated climbs, short stops, and rapid temperature swings.
